Wedded Bliss

I'm not really hyped up on the idea for using the blog for shout-outs, but when it's your best friend, you have to!

This is my best friend in the whole world, Justin, getting married to Michelle a few weeks ago. The big wedding will come later (as it often does in the military world) which is why they are getting married in an office in Houston.

Justin and I are either insanely different or exactly alike - I haven't figured out which. We dated in college seriously, then not so seriously, then confusingly, then we hated each other, then we hooked up again, then hated a lot more. We finally, after YEARS of this, found a place for each other in our lives. Justin has been my constant in the last 7 years (though his role in my life has not) and not to be cliche, but it's one of those "always there for each other sort of relationships. We've seen each other through breakups, loss of pets, loss of grandparents, frustrations in the military, etc. It's one of those great types of 3 in the morning phone calls relationships.

But, in fear of feeding his already too-big ego, I'm going to stop and say congratulations to Justin and Michelle Forkner!!
