I bought a fabulous book a few years ago by Patricia Schultz called
"1000 Places to See Before You Die." When it came in the mail, I quickly skimmed through it to discover that I've seen very little of the world!
Critics of the book complain that there are more things that should be included. Well, I certainly hope there are more than 1000 things to see before I die! For the non-snobby, this is a great list to get you started or focused on travelling and see some amazing things along the way. There's actually more than 1000 listed in the book for you sharp-eyed readers.
I've started highlighting things in my book when I visit them and I'd like to have the whole book bright green by the time I die, which, according to a health survey I filled out, will be at the ripe old age of 85. I went to
this website to get an idea of how I was doing so far. Without the descriptions, I can't tell on some of the European places if I've been there or not, so I might get to add in an extra percentage point, but I'm only
FOUR PERCENT complete?
In fact, why am I still typing? Gotta go travel!!
