I don't understand how the subway system turns people into complete morons/bastards every morning during rush hour. I mean, come on folks, we all have to get to work/school in the morning, so let's make the most of it and be civil.
Today, for example, I don't get a seat. No big deal, it's rush hour. This little wisp of a woman is standing next to me and completely blocking the pole that one hangs on to, so this other girl had to try to ride the T in without holding onto anything. She did well, but I couldn't help but think how annoying it was that this woman was blocking the way. So, then, because it's negative 1000 degress in Boston this morning, I decide that I'm going to hop on the green line and save myself a couple thousand yards of frozen walk. I was about to hop on the green car, which has a door big enough for 4 people to walk through at once, when the SAME lady literally pushes me out of the way, causing me to be that unfortunate idiot smashed in the door and out of luck.
Please, everyone. Move all the way in. Don't hog the poles. Don't hip check someone out of the way to get on the green line. Please.
