Just a regular update

Nothing snarky or interesting to report, but here's what's up with me:

Jon got home from Combat Skills Training on Thursday (just in time for Valentines!) and we celebrated with some pizza, since we figured all the restaurants would be way crowded.

I finished my giant background investigation packet for the US Attorney's Intern Program. After several phone calls and trips to the lame-o Somerville Police department, my fingerprints were FINALLY taken. You would think the fact that I have a security clearance in the military would mean something, but civilians can be weird.

Only 2 weeks until Jon and I go to Costa Rica for spring break - the big trip before he deploys to Afghanistan. We can't wait!

Second semester of law school is proving to be infinitely more difficult than the first, so I've developed quite the relationship with my school's library. I also am in training to become a Student Ambassador, giving tours of the school and the like. My friend, Andy, and I have though of creative things to tell the students, such as I lead a tour into a room and Andy's there standing on a chair with a noose around his neck.

Anyway, I hope all is well with your world!
