I finished Constitutional Law last year and was happy to get out of the abortion debates. As previously blogged about by yours truly, I grew frustrated with the obvious pro-choice stance that the class took when the goal was to be objective.
And here I am again, in family law, reading Roe v. Wade again, as well as articles written by women who were traumatized by having an illegal abortion or watching their loved ones have to search for an abortionist. Poor women? Poor babies is more like it. Sliced to bits by a doctor on order from the one person that's supposed to protect them: their mother. So, here's an idea: Don't get an abortion. Or, don't put yourself in the position where you'll want to get one. Unless you've got some crazy circumstance (you're going to die if you have a baby) I don't feel sorry for you one bit.

Speaking of slanted classes, sounds like the professor I had for Psychology of the exceptional child.
She has us watch a fairly convincing video saying how ADHD is over diagnosed in children and when the class disagreed, shot us all down collectively...and it wasn't just playing devil's advocate.
What amazes me is how many pro-choice people have never, and in all likelihood WILL never, have to undergo that which they support most.
The only way that I can support it is if there is proof that the mother's life or that of the child is in danger.(And those cases are VERY rare.)
