No, it's not an odd piece of art. It's a heater. Because ours broke. In the coldest week of this Massachusetts winter. Fantastic. Isn't she a beaut? Cost: ouch.
I also bought flowers for my new nephew, Iain Mason Beach! (pronounced like "Ian" in case you were confused. This is what they were supposed to look like, and hopefully they came out similar (you never know when you buy flowers long distance!).
