Ridiculous Conversations

Scene:  I go to check the mail and take Dash with me, off leash.  When I turn to go home, he runs down the sidewalk.  Not a big deal usually because he always comes back.  A woman from across the entire parking lot starts walking across the lot towards me.

Woman: Excuse me!

Me: Hi, I'm sorry he ran off.

Woman: I am very afraid.

Me: Ok, I'm sorry.  He won't hurt you.  DASH, COME HERE!

Woman: I am very afraid.

Me: Ok, sorry.  Come on, Dash.

Woman: I am very afraid.  I am very afraid.

Me: (grabbing Dash) Ok, let's go.

Woman: I am very afraid. (wanders off) I am very afraid.

Me: Yeah, I get it.
