A Little Brighter

Figuring out easy ways to bring color in our uber-beige rental is pretty fun.  I added a bit of orange (I know, not using yellow is surprising!) to some beige Billy bookends from IKEA.  I bought them because our last name starts with a "B" so it made sense to have them in our house.

After!

One coat of primer (I don't know if it does any good, but I'm obsessed with using it) and three very light coats of orange spray paint, and we have a nice little pop of color in the kitchen!
