So, as of now, I'm not a captain in the Army anymore. I mean, I'm still on the list for callup, but I have no ID card, no title, no pay, no insurance, etc.
Part of me is super excited because it's a sign of moving on with my life, going to the next chapter, etc.
But, a HUGE part of me is a littl depressed. I've gone from CPT Alison Hanger, Battalion Adjutant, a fairly important and respectable role, to Alison Beach, unemployed wife of someone important. I worked so hard to get where I was, an now it's a little sad to see it go, even though it's what I wanted.
I know I'd be unhappy if I had stayed in and was at the Advanced Course now, but being unemployed and unimportant isn't much fun either!

Don't worry, you're still important to me!
