I can read!

So, for the last several years, I've really read very little besides horribly boring law casebooks, and I'm a HUGE reader, so it was pretty depressing.  Well, now that the bar exam is over, my job is nowhere close to starting, and I spend a good amount of time sitting on my butt with a baby in my arms or breastpump bottles on my...well, breasts....I've started balancing my kindle (thanks, Craig!) in one hand while babying/pumping in the other.  So I need suggestions on books!

I read Matched, which is supposed to be the new Hunger Games, but isn't nearly as captivating.  I would have liked it more if I had read it first.  Then I re-read Breaking Dawn, because I just felt like it.  I just finished The Help, which was truly an amazing book.  I've for $25 on my Amazon account waiting to be spent, so what should I read next???

It's free on the Kindle to read classics, so I'm thinking about reading some classic novels, but when you're feeding at 2am, you want something really captivating and I'm afraid I'll get bored.  Please make some suggestions if you have any!!

Summer Kitchen by Karen Weinreb, Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, and The Castaways by Elin Hildebrand, and The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom. All excellent!

Seeing as I'm briefly (until the Bar prep starts) able to read books for fun too, I just picked up the most recent (couple years ago) Dan Brown book: The Lost Symbol.

I'm only a little bit into it, but seeing as you're headed to D.C., it might be a fun read. His books are pretty fast-paced and exciting.

HP and the Deathly Hallows - especially now, because much of the book takes place around this time of year.
I've also been reading the books from which the 'bones' TV series took it's inspiration. The author is Kathy Reichs and I started with 'Fatal Voyage' which is a little dated because it was written pre- 9/11 and deals with a plane crash - but I find her to be an excellent writer in the vein of patricia cornwell - but unlike patty-dear, Kathy wraps her science in a good story (beginning, middle and end) - and this is the wrap against Patty - hers have very unsatisfying endings! 'Fatal Voyage' is not the first book with the character, but I was not at all confused in reading it.

As for classics, I enjoyed "Pride and Prejudice" and "Wuthering Heights" in recent years!
