I love books. LOVE them. I have boxes and boxes downstairs of books - some I have read 30 times, so I haven't read yet. And even more than books, I love series of books. Harry Potter, Little House on the Prairie, Nora Roberts' trilogy, I love them all. I hate so much getting to the end of a series though. I feel sad, even though Harry Potter wrapped up nicely, that there are no more adventures or stories about the characters that I've come to learn about, love, or hate. I am so envious of the kids I haven't even had yet, that a whole world of stories is out there for them to enjoy, days and nights spent with Bella and Edward's star-crossed vampire romance or Mary and Laura's treks across the great plains in a covered wagon.
I just started a new series - the Shopaholic series, which, surprisingly, is extremely well-written and entertaining. Much more so than most of the chick lit out there. And while I'm enjoying being whisked away to Becky's London world, and can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series, I can't help but already be sad that there's an end out there!
So, if anyone has a good series they know of that I should check out, let me know!!
